Hollis, formerly Firmkit Studio, is our app for photographers. It delivers galleries, signs contracts and takes payment. Pixieset sells client galleries to photographers too. The short answer
Hollis charges $12, $24 or $39 a month, or $10, $20 or $32 billed yearly, with 0% commission and a 14‑day Pro trial with no card. Pixieset lists a free 3 GB plan with a 15% store commission, then paid Client Gallery plans from $8 a month on yearly billing. Compare storage, features and what each plan includes before you choose.

How to choose
Pick Hollis if
- You want galleries, proofing, contracts, invoices and booking in one app.
- You want 0% commission on every plan and a free trial first.
- You are a working photographer and want software built by two of them.
Pick Pixieset if
- You want a free plan to start on.
- You want an unlimited-storage tier. Hollis tops out at 1 TB, then $5 a month per extra 100 GB.
- You already run your store and clients there and have no reason to move.
Questions
Does Hollis charge a commission on sales?
No. Hollis charges 0% commission on every plan. Photographers keep 100% of their sales, minus the payment processor fees. Pixieset lists a 15% store commission on its free plan and none on its paid plans.
Which one has more storage?
Pixieset lists an Ultimate plan with unlimited storage at $40 a month billed annually. Hollis tops out at 1 TB on the $39 Studio plan, and extra storage is $5 a month per 100 GB. Compare the tiers in the table above.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Hollis has a 14‑day Pro trial with no card needed. Pixieset lists a free plan with 3 GB of storage.
