What changed at the first company
A family-owned security company with builder work, homes, commercial jobs, a crew and an office was running on phone calls, spreadsheets and a shared database. Punchdown moved all of it into one place.
Builders
Each lot shows its stage, its package and its next visit. Builders also get a marketing kit to help sell the house, and they sign in with an emailed link.
Technicians
A day view with jobs, truck stock and service requests. Techs send updates from the job and never edit company records directly.
The office
An ops desk, live sales numbers from the CRM, quotes that turn into a PDF at the kitchen table, and parts ordering tied to jobs.
The owner
A finance book for the controller, plus a scanner that finds new permits and bids in the area.
Status
Running on the company's own domain since October 2026. The first builders are coming on now.
Everything a security company runs on
Turn on what you use. Every module shares one record of the customer, the job and the crew.
Builder hub
Lot tracking, package choices, visit schedules and a co-branded marketing kit for the homes you wire.
Technician day view
Today's jobs, truck stock, service requests and notes, made for a phone in a truck.
Ops desk
Dispatch, handoffs and every open job on one screen, with roles for who can see and change what.
In-home quotes
Build the system at the kitchen table, add and drop items as you talk, and leave a finished PDF.
Inventory and parts
Stock by truck and warehouse, with orders tied to the jobs that need them.
Live sales numbers
Open quotes, booked work and where each lead came from, pulled from the CRM instead of a Sunday spreadsheet.
Training
Lessons, tests and levels for techs, so the next hire learns the same way as the last.
Permit and bid scanner
AI finds new permits and open bids nearby and scores each one. It explains every point and contacts no one.
Finance book
Jobs, billing and margin for the controller, read from the same records as the field.
Where the AI is, plainly
Ask a job a question
You get the record back. Every answer names where it came from, or says Not captured. It never makes up a number.
A ready prompt on every screen
Punchdown fills in the safe fields and you paste the prompt into your own AI. It never sends customer data to one.
The scanner
Uses AI to find and score new work. It shows its reasons and contacts nobody.
Run it at your company
A version for any security integrator is in development. It runs on your domain and signs in your builders and your crew. Builders get an emailed link. Staff add a second step with an authenticator app.
A price for your company
The price depends on your crew size, your builders and the modules you turn on. Tell us how you run today and we come back with a number.

Who is Punchdown for?
Security and low-voltage installers that work with builders, homeowners and commercial customers and have a crew in the field. It was built inside Secur-Tek, a family-owned security company in Apex, North Carolina.
Can I use Punchdown at my company today?
Not as a finished product yet. It runs for one company today. A version for any security integrator is in development, and we quote early licensing case by case.
Does it work with the tools I already use?
It syncs jobs from the field-service system a company already runs and is built to connect to Buildertrend, so builders keep their own tools. Sales numbers come from the CRM. Ask us about your setup before you commit to anything.
Does Punchdown send my customer data to an AI?
No. It writes a prompt with only the safe fields filled in, and you paste it into your own AI if you want to. Phone numbers, emails and costs stay inside Punchdown.
